Approved Provider · Specialized Services (ABA), Level 1

Your scholarship can pay for this✦

NeuroNavigate is an approved Step Up For Students provider. If your student has a Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities, those funds can go toward behavior-analytic services here.

No insurance. No waitlist. No agency intake.

What you'd actually be getting

A third option

Most families arriving with a scholarship have been offered one of two things: a twenty-hour-a-week agency model built around a technician in the home, or nothing at all.

Level 1

A BCBA works with you directly

Not a technician under remote supervision. The same person who does the assessment builds the plan and sits with you while you learn to run it.

By design

You're the one implementing

The strategies have to work at 6pm on a Tuesday, in your actual house, with your actual family. So you're the one who learns them.

Assent-based

Neuroaffirming throughout

Stimming, scripting, movement, and AAC are not behaviors to be reduced. The goal is never a student who looks compliant — it's a student whose needs are actually met.

The shape of the work

What a typical engagement looks like

Assessment

Indirect assessment, direct observation, and preference assessment — figuring out what's actually happening before anyone proposes a plan.

Plan and handoff

A written plan built around your family's real constraints, plus the sessions where I teach you to use it.

Ongoing consultation

Usually biweekly. We adjust based on what the data actually shows, not on what was supposed to happen.

Because this model is consultative rather than intensive, your scholarship goes considerably further than it would against an agency's hour count — leaving room for the OT, speech, and other supports your student may also need.

Using your funds

Four steps, and one that families miss

Reach out

A free conversation, no commitment. I'll tell you honestly if this isn't the right fit for your student.

We agree on scope

You'll know the number before anything starts — what the assessment covers, what follows it, and what it costs.

Reserve funds in your EMA account

This is the step families miss. Once funds are reserved to NeuroNavigate, I can submit invoices directly and you don't have to approve each one individually. I'll walk you through it.

We begin

Scheduled around your family, in person in Tampa Bay or online anywhere in Florida.

One honest note about what funds cover

Scholarship funds can only be used for services in the area a provider is approved in. For NeuroNavigate, that's behavior-analytic services — consultation and strategy, family and caregiver sessions, and transition consulting.

Workshops, courses, classroom resources, and professional trainings are educational rather than clinical. They're available to anyone, and I'd love you to have them — but they aren't billable to your scholarship, and I won't tell you otherwise.

Scholarship funds also can't be used for services already billed to insurance, Medicaid, or another agency for the same student.
